TERMS OF SALE AND USE
Last updated: September 30, 2026.
Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These Terms govern access to and use of the www.thebestplayerontheworld.com website (the “Site”), published by PcF Trans. (the “Publisher”), as well as the sale of digital spaces (the “Pixels”) on the Site's page. Any use of the Site and any purchase of Pixels constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms by the user (the “User” or “Buyer”).
Article 1a — Definition of “Pixel”
A “Pixel” means one basic unit of display space on the Site's page, as selected and purchased by the Buyer. It is a display space only: purchasing one or more Pixels confers on the Buyer no equity, share, stock, voting right, dividend or any other right customarily attached to a share or stock of a company or any other entity.
Article 2 — Description of the service
The Site lets any User select a rectangular area of Pixels on the home page, see its price (1 Pixel = $1, all taxes included), and, once payment is confirmed, upload an image to be displayed in the purchased area, together with an optional link to a third-party site of their choice.
Article 3 — Review prior to publication
Every uploaded image is reviewed by the Publisher before it goes live. This review covers only compliance with the Site's content rules (no illegal, obscene, abusive, shocking content, or content otherwise contrary to these Terms, the law, public order or accepted standards of decency) and the technical format of the file (in particular, that the image is not animated). It is in no way a verification of copyright, related rights, image rights of any person shown, or any other intellectual property or personality right attached to the uploaded image: that verification is the User's sole responsibility, as set out in the representations and warranties of Article 4. The Publisher reserves the discretionary right to refuse, delay or remove, at any time and without notice, any image or link that breaches these Terms, the law, public order or accepted standards of decency. By ticking the confirmation box provided before payment, the User acknowledges having read these content rules; a refusal on these grounds therefore does not give rise to any refund, the User having knowingly accepted this risk before paying, subject to the exceptional refund provided for in Article 7.
Article 3a — Subjective and personal nature of published content
The Site's name and the content published on it by Users may include subjective statements, rankings, opinions or value judgements (for example, naming a given individual as “the best player on the world”). This content expresses solely the personal opinion of the User who posted it and is in no way an objective statement, an official ranking, a representative survey, or the position of the Publisher. The Publisher does not endorse, verify or guarantee the accuracy, representativeness or legitimacy of any opinion expressed by Users on the Site, and cannot be held liable in that respect.
Article 4 — Warranty of ownership of rights and indemnification
4.1. By uploading an image to the Site, the User expressly represents and warrants that:
(a) they are the author of the image or hold all intellectual property rights (copyright, related rights, trademark, design rights) needed to reproduce and publicly display it on the Site;
(b) where applicable, they have obtained the written consent of any identifiable individuals shown in the image, in accordance with their image rights;
(c) the image and any associated link do not infringe any third-party rights (intellectual property, image rights, right to privacy) and contain no unlawful, defamatory, abusive, pornographic, violent or discriminatory content, nothing that offends human dignity, glorifies crimes against humanity, incites hatred or violence, or is otherwise contrary to public order.
4.2. The User grants the Publisher, free of charge and for as long as the image is displayed on the Site, a non-exclusive licence (reproduction, display, technical adaptation for display purposes) strictly limited to what the Site needs to function.
4.3. The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Publisher harmless against any resulting damage — including defence costs, legal fees and any award — arising from a claim, action or proceeding brought by a third party in connection with a violation, by the uploaded image or link, of that third party's rights or of the representations and warranties above. The User remains solely and fully responsible for the content they upload.
4.4. In line with applicable hosting-provider liability rules, the Publisher acts as a host of content uploaded by Users and exercises no editorial control over that content before review. Anyone who believes content published on the Site is unlawful can report it to contact@thebestplayerontheworld.com, providing the information needed to identify and assess the content. The Publisher undertakes to promptly remove any content reported to it that is manifestly unlawful.
Article 5 — Price and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars, all taxes included, on the basis of one dollar per Pixel selected. Payment is made in full and in advance, through the secure payment provider Stripe, before any image is uploaded. The Publisher does not store any card details.
Article 5a — Minimum purchase
The Site may require a minimum number of Pixels per purchase, shown before any payment on the page (currently set at 50 Pixels). Below this minimum, payment remains unavailable; the Buyer must enlarge their selection to reach this minimum before they can proceed to payment.
Article 6 — No right of withdrawal
Once a purchase is confirmed, allocation of a Pixel is instant and irreversible. By ticking the box provided before payment, the Buyer expressly acknowledges that the service is performed immediately and waives their statutory right of withdrawal for the digital service purchased.
Article 7 — Refunds at the Publisher's discretion
By way of exception to Article 6, the Publisher may, at its sole discretion and as a goodwill gesture, agree to a refund in exceptional circumstances (an obvious selection error reported immediately, unavailability of the service attributable to the Publisher, final rejection of the image for a reason not attributable to the Buyer). In that case, the fixed fees charged by the payment provider (Stripe fees) remain payable by the Buyer and will be deducted from the amount refunded.
Article 8 — Display period and removal
Unless stated otherwise on the Site, a purchased image remains displayed indefinitely. The Publisher nonetheless reserves the right to remove, at any time, any content that no longer complies with these Terms, without this giving rise to a refund outside the cases set out in Article 7.
Article 8a — Full buyout of the page
The Publisher offers an optional “full page buyout” feature, letting a User acquire every Pixel on the page, including Pixels already purchased by other Users, for a fixed, net price that is the same regardless of how much of the page is occupied at the time of the buyout, shown before any payment is made. Any User who buys one or more Pixels expressly acknowledges and accepts that a later full buyout, carried out by another User and approved by the Publisher, will permanently and without compensation remove their image, link and name from the Site. Every User is informed of this possibility before their first purchase. As with any purchase on the Site, a full buyout is subject to the absence of a right of withdrawal set out in Article 6: the User carrying out a full buyout cannot claim any refund once their payment is confirmed, subject only to the exceptional case provided for in Article 7.
Article 9 — Publisher's liability
The Publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from use of the Site, a service interruption, a technical malfunction, or the content of images and links uploaded by Users. A link uploaded by a User points to a third-party site whose content and practices the Publisher does not control; the Publisher accepts no liability in that respect.
Article 10 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law stated in the Legal Notice. Any dispute over their interpretation or performance falls, failing an amicable resolution, within the jurisdiction of the competent courts named in the Legal Notice.
Article 11 — Changes to these Terms
The Publisher reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. The Terms that apply are those in force on the date of purchase.

ABOUT
Everyone has had this argument at least once in their life. In a schoolyard, on a patch of waste ground after school, in a locker room, or in front of a match on TV: who is the best player on the world? As kids, we settled it with improvised arguments and impressions of famous moves. As adults, nothing has really changed — only the names we defend have shifted over the years, and the conviction has stayed exactly as strong.
This site was born out of that endless argument. Not to settle it once and for all — that would be impossible, and it's not the point — but to finally give it a place where a claim can leave a lasting mark, instead of evaporating at the end of a conversation. A page, blank to start with, that anyone can make their own: a photo, a shirt worn on a winning day, a carefully made piece of art, or simply a name written proudly. It's no longer just an opinion thrown out in conversation — it's a space, won and kept, visible to everyone.
The page grows a little more every week, built by people who never gave up on the opinion they formed as kids. Some come back again and again to grow their corner of it. Others have taken only the smallest space, just to say: I have an opinion too, and it counts as much as anyone else's.
There will never be a final answer to this question — and that's exactly how it should be. In the meantime, there's still room. Maybe yours.

These pixels are yours
Your spot on the page is reserved. All that’s left is to leave your mark on it.
Choose a sharp, high-resolution image: it will stay on the page exactly as it is, for good, at the precise size of the pixels you just bought. The more pixels you took, the larger the image needs to be to avoid looking blurry.
🛡️ Your image will be reviewed by an administrator before it appears on the page — usually within a few hours.
⚠️ Rejected at review, with no refund: any illegal, obscene/pornographic, abusive, shocking or otherwise inappropriate content, as well as animated images (GIF or animated WebP).
